The Arc of Appalachia invites you to join us for the 12th Annual Wildflower Pilgrimage, an exclusive journey to experience the most spectacular wildflower displays found in the Eastern United States. Guided hikes will be held during the Pilgrimage at botanical hotspots throughout the five-county region of the Arc of Appalachia. Witness breathtaking arrays of dozens of species of wildflowers, including white-flowering trilliums, blue cohosh, miterwort, anemones, yellow wood poppies and purple larkspurs- all blooming at once! The Wildflower Pilgrimage is hosted in Bainbridge, Ohio at the Arc’s largest preserve, the 2200-acre Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Memorable, healthy meals are included in the cost of registration. Affordable accommodations are available in our relaxing retreat-style lodges throughout the Sanctuary on a limited basis.
