Mike received his degree in business finance form the Ohio State University in the mid 1980's. Since graduation he's made a living from playing, mixing, mastering, and producing music, and joined the WCBE family in 2002.

Overcoats is a collaboration between Hana Elion, and JJ Mitchell.

This New York based act will be in Columbus to perform at the Rumba Café the evening of 14th.

Also playing at this show will be Gordi, based in Australia.

This singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay area is now on tour.

Based in New York, this act is fronted by Tamsin Wilson.

Her second full length release, "Look Both Ways", came out in late 2016.

She will perform at the Rumba Cafe the evening of the 29th.

Barely in her 20s, she has already won a John Lennon Songwriting Award, and her music has also been featured in movies and TV shows.

This band from British Columbia will make a stop in Columbus at The Basement the evening of the 22nd.

This New York based project will perform at Double Happiness on the 6th of August, at the Kevin Devine show. Columbus based Van Dale is also scheduled to perform

Their latest release "Maybe Believe" came out on May 12th.

Currently on tour, their Columbus stop will be at Woodlands Tavern the evening of the 10th.

Jon Stickley Trio will also play a show at Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Cleveland on the 15th of August.

This Ohio based band, led by Jen and James Goldsberry have a release show coming up at Rambling House Soda on Friday August 11.

The Release show for the new cd is scheduled to take place at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza In Worthington on Saturday, July 22.

Titled '77, this cd features original songs of several musical genres.

Also appearing at Natalie's that evening is guitarist Matt Steidle.

This Ohio based band will perform at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza In Worthington on Saturday the 15th.

After that, they will head out to play shows in Iowa, Tennessee and New York.

Their new release "When The Darkness Comes" can be pre-ordered here, and copies are expected to be mailed out the same day as their performance in studio A.

Bill Scorzari's second full length release "Through These Waves" came out earlier this year.

Several well known artists helped him out on his latest effort, including Will Kimbrough, Joachim Cooder, Chris Scruggs and more.

He's not playing any shows in town right now, so the only chance to hear him play in central Ohio at  this time will be right here in Studio A.

Their last visit to studio A was on January 14, 2015, and they've been jamming ever since.

Electric Orange Peel lists musical influences including The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers and Phish, but they have lots of original music to draw from for their live sets.

The album release show for their new effort "Seed" will take place at Woodlands Tavern on June 30.

Also appearing at this show will be the the band "Subterranean".

These guys currently touring in support of their release, "America, Location 12".

They'll be playing in several states in this part of the country during late June and early July.

Guster and Esmé Patterson will be opening for them at their show at Express Live!, the evening of the 27th.

This singer/songwriter based in Seattle will be stopping by studio A to talk about his career, and play a few songs live.

He's doing a series of radio interviews this week, so he won't be performing in town.

This interview will be your only chance to hear him play in Columbus this time around.

Lately she's been on the road with John Paul White, and they'll perform at 31 West in Newark the evening of the 21st.

He relocated to Columbus from New Jersey a few years back.

Sean Marshall & The Near Miss have a new release, simply titled "New"

The release show will be at Rambling House Soda the evening of the 9th, starting at about 9pm.

They'll also be travelling to Pennsylvania, Indiana and New Jersey for shows this summer.

Their new EP, "You Can Follow", comes out June 9th, but you can listen to it online today here.

They'll be performing at the Columbus Arts Festival on June 9th, and on June 10th, they'll be at Ramblin' House Soda for their EP release show.

The Secret Sisters are Laura and Lydia Rogers.

They will perform at the Rumba Cafe the evening of May 26.

This will be one of their last shows in this part of the country, before they head west for shows in Washington, Oregon, and California.

"You Don't Own Me Anymore" is their latest release.

He's a singer songwriter and guitar player, and he's also known as the tour manager for the Dark Star Orchestra.

The Dark Star Jubilee Music Festival is this weekend at Legend Valley in Thornville Ohio.

Matt will play a few songs, and talk about this year's festival, which will include appearances from Railroad Earth, and Keller Williams Kwahtro and Hot Tuna.
