Mike received his degree in business finance form the Ohio State University in the mid 1980's. Since graduation he's made a living from playing, mixing, mastering, and producing music, and joined the WCBE family in 2002.

Currently touring the eastern United States in support of her new release, "Midnight", her central Ohio stop will be at the LC Pavilion the evening of the 9th.

Rayland Baxter will open most of her upcoming shows in October.

This musical act is currently doing a series of radio interviews before they embark on their next tour in mid October.

The Saint Johns is the project of Louis Johnson and Jordan Meredith, Florida natives who are now based in Nashville.

A few highlights of their career so far include an appearance on the Letterman Show, and some shows with The Lone Bellow, Delta Rae, Stephen Kellogg and Drew Holcomb.

These guys are currently out on tour supporting Warren Haynes. Their Columbus show the evening of the 24th  has been moved from the LC Pavilion to The Newport Music Hall.

ChessBoxer is the project of Matt Menefee and Ross Holmes from the band Cadillac Sky, joined by Royal Masat on Bass.

Named after two characters from Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel The Brothers Karamazov, this Seattle based band will perform at Skully's Music Diner Sunday September 27, 2015.

After that, they will stay in town long enough to perform live in studio a before their show the evening of the 28th at Motr Pub in Cincinnati.

A three time Kerrville New Folk finalist, Angela has a new release, "Common Law Wife".

She gets help on this cd from Fats Kaplin and Will Kimbrough.

Bob Edwards has interviewed her, and she has also appeared on Michael Feldman's Whad'ya Know.

Byrds cofounder Roger McGuinn once described her as "a bright shining star on the horizon".

Joining her will be guitarist Brandon Turner, who plays in her band.

Mollie and Rich last performed in Studio A back on Feb 6, 2014, and now they're back, but this time with Todd Burge.

The Mollie O'Brien/Rich Moore Collaboration, "Love Runner" came out last year.

Formed in 2010 by Jay Souza from the band 50 Cent Haircut, and Bosco Sheff, both from Boston, this band is based in Los Angeles.

Their two releases so far are "Cool Your Jets" and "Be Happy"

After playing gigs at the Black Swamp Arts Festival in Bowling Green, Ohio, they will perform a couple of times in central Ohio.

Named after the Django Reinhardt song "Rhythm Futur", this act performs gypsy jazz standards and original compositions.

They have a couple of performances coming up at the Black Swamp Arts Festival in Bowling Green, Ohio on Sept. 12 and 13, and a show at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza In Worthington on Sept. 11.

These two veterans of the World Saxophone Quartet will be in Central Ohio to play a few shows with the Jazz Poetry Ensemble.

They will perform at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington on Sept. 9, and at Dick's Den, the next night.

Then on Sept. 13, 3:45 pm, they'll be at the Hot Times Festival.

The release show for his new cd, "My Mountain", is coming up at Woodlands Tavern on September 10.

He also plays Wednesdays at the Ugly Tuna Saloona.

This Washington DC based act returns to Ohio to perform at the Riverside Blues Fest in St. Mary's on Saturday August 29.

Then on Sunday August 30 they'll perform at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza in Worthington.

One last Ohio stop for this band before heading back to the east coast will be in WCBE's studio a.

This North Carolina based act will be performing in Lakeside Ohio the evening of the 27th, and will pass through Central Ohio on the way to a gig in Lexington Kentucky the evening of the 28th.

Their only performance in central Ohio this time around will be live from WCBE's studio A.

Lilly and Aaron will be playing that night at Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza In Worthington.

They're playing several shows together in July and August.

The daughter of John Hiatt, Lilly's "Royal Blue" release came out earlier this year.

Aaron's latest release is "Telling Stories To The Walls".

She does not have any central Ohio concerts coming up, so the only way to hear her perform in Columbus this July is to tune in to her perform live at wcbe.

She will be touring the west coast in August.

Her new release, "Strange Love & The Secret Language", is scheduled to come out on August 7.

On this cd, she gets a little help from Marco Benevento, and also A. C. Newman from the band The New Pornographers.

After forming just a couple of years ago, this Columbus based act has already played at some high profile festivals, like the Bunbury Music Festival, and the 2014 Fashion Meets Music Festival.

Their music has been heard on national commercials, and they recently wrote a song for the Columbus Crew Soccer Club.

Jared has a new release,  "Content".

That EP will be coming out  on July 10, which is also Global Release Day.

He will be playing some private house partys soon. Also coming up, a performance at the Columbus Commons on Thursday July 23.

This husband-Wife team have been friends since she was 7 and he was 9.

Touring in support of "Riverman's Daughter", now out on cd and Vinyl,
these two will perform later that evening at the Rumba Cafe.

This Portland Oregon based act has been writing music and playing live since 1999.

Their sixth full length release, which came out last month on the Sub-Pop label, is self-titled.

They're currently touring the USA with the band Lost Lander, also out of Oregon. Both bands will perform the evening of the 24th at The Basement.

This local indie band will be opening for the Wisconsin based musical act Phox that night at The Basement. It's The Basement's 10th Anniversary Show. The band Mechanical River, out of South Carolina, will also perform. Doors open at about 7pm.

Their cd, "Sleepless Wilds" has been out for a few months now.

A six piece outfit, these folks have been making music since April 2013.
