Richelle Antczak McCuen

Independent Consultant

After an exciting, challenging and very eventful career at WCBE, I have chosen to step-down from my position as full-time membership director. I will continue to support the station as an independent consultant.

I have enjoyed my 13+ years at WCBE and appreciate having had the opportunity to help facilitate over $6 million dollars in donations from listeners.  I will miss my colleagues, our members, volunteers and the station overall.

Dr. Seuss is quoted as saying, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." That's exactly how I feel right now. Thank you for all the smiles over the years - the many, many smiles!

Membership related questions can be directed to the WCBE Membership department at membership.wcbe@gmail.com or by phone at 614-365-5555. As an independent consultant to the station, I can still be reached at rantczak.wcbe@gmail.com.

Congratulations to renewing member, Daniel Gideon! He is the winner of our iPad Mini Giveaway, held on Friday, October 18 during on our fall on-air fundraiser.

Dan writes, "Normally, I wait until the eleventh hour at the end of the year to donate to WCBE.  Also, I don’t normally spend too much time listening during fund drives.  This time I listened more than usual, and I learned a lot about the station and the various programs that need support.

WCBE has a wide variety of programs, from All Things Considered and BBC World News, to Blue Collar, Global Village, World Café, there’s programming for different tastes and different moods.  People in this area are truly blessed to have such an eclectic, informative, and entertaining radio station.

I was swept up in the enthusiasm of the station reaching its goal, and I had the added incentive of possibly winning an iPad Mini.  I never expected to win, but I’m very glad that I did.  Keep up the good work, WCBE!  Thank you very much!"

The staff at WCBE thanks each listener, volunteer, and business who supported us during our recent membership campaign. We are proud to announce we hit our fall membership goal, raising $265,000.

Donations like yours help the NPR news and eclectic music you rely thrive. If you didn't have a chance to give, please do so today!

WINNER ANNOUNCED: Congratulations to renewing member, Bill Hoza!

Bill writes, "You can live to be a hundred if you give up all the things that make you want to live to be a hundred.” ― Woody Allen

"Needless to say I'm not reaching a 100 because I'm not giving up WCBE (coffee and beer are also excluded) in favor of hours of repetitive Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber classics -- it is my guess that you would have to be crazy not to support WCBE."

Give at our Premium Level and you’ll receive 1 pound of ‘CBE Special Blend full-bean organic coffee, and a 'CBE coffee scoop.
