1st West Nile Case In Franklin County This Year

A 25-year-old woman is recovering from Franklin County's first case of West Nile Virus.

Franklin County health officials say the woman contracted the illness after being bitten by a mosquito earlier this month. The Ohio Department of Health says that brings to 16 the number of confirmed human cases this year.
