Oct 30, 2012

The State Health Department says two more fungal meningitis cases have been reported, bring Ohio's total to 13 illnesses linked to recalled steroid injections for back pain.

The additional cases involve a 39-year-old Clermont County man and a 56-year-old Warren County woman. The Centers for Disease Control says more than 330 illnesses and 25 deaths in the U.S. are linked to steroids from a specialty pharmacy in Massachusetts. That facility has recalled its products.
