Activists Lobby For Medicaid Expansion

Advocates for expanding Medicaid used the Mother's Day holiday to ask state lawmakers what their mothers would do about the issue. Cathy Levine, co chair of Ohio Consumers for Health Coverage, says a recent study shows poor, working women would benefit from expanding Medicaid.

The study conducted by the left-leaning think tank Policy Matters Ohio shows more than 153 thousand Ohio women between the ages of 19 and 44 could gain health insurance coverage if the state expands Medicaid under Governor John Kasich's plan.
