African-American Cincinnati Officer Under Fire Over Post Critical Of White Counterparts

A black Cincinnati police officer is the subject of an internal investigation over a social media post that said white officers "are looking for a reason to kill a black man." Freddie Vincent posted the comments earlier this month after the fatal shootings of black men by police in Louisiana and Minnesota. The post has since been deleted.  Police officials are investigating whether Vincent violated the department's policies regarding social media. Vincent alleged harassment and discrimination at the hands of white supervisors in a lawsuit filed against the city last year. The case was settled in April.
