Alutto: No Fence Mending Necessary
Interim Ohio State University President Joe Alutto says he has work to do to push the OSU brand in the U.S. and internationally, but he says he doesn’t feel damage control is part of that.
Alutto succeeded Gordon Gee, who retired after the latest in a series of verbal gaffes. Speaking at the Columbus Metropolitan Club yesterday, Alutto said he does not think he has to repair any burned bridges.
Alutto also says Gee’s 5.8 million dollar retirement package was a Board of Trustees decision, so he says he doesn’t have to defend or comment on it.
