Anchor Hocking Parent Files For Chapter 11

Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

The parent company of Lancaster-based glassware maker Anchor Hocking is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to reduce long-term debt. EveryWare Global hopes to emerge from bankruptcy in 60 to 75 days, at which time it will no longer be publicly traded. The firm says none of the 12 hundred person workforce at the Anchor Hocking plant will be laid off.
