Animal welfare in Ohio series - Part 1

Columbus, OH – National football star Michael Vick has been sentenced to 23 months behind bars after he pleaded guilty to felony charges stemming from his involvement in an interstate dogfighting ring. Vick has already lost millions in endorsements and has been suspended from playing for the Atlanta Falcons. Humane organizations say dog fighting rings like the one Vick was involved in are not unusual in the United States. In the first of her three part series on animal welfare in Ohio, statehouse correspondent Jo Ingles reports, state leaders say dog fighting isn't unusual here either.
