Ann Romney Stumps In Findlay
Ann Romney is citing her battle against multiple sclerosis as evidence that she and her husband, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, understand peoples' problems.
At a rally for women at the University of Findlay yesterday, Mrs. Romney said the episode disproves critics who have accused the wealthy family of not relating to average people and leading a charmed life. Mrs. Romney recounted struggling with the disease as the couple moved to Utah so Mitt Romney could prepare to oversee the 2002 Winter Olympics. The disease has been in remission for years.
