AP Test Scores Rising In Ohio

The Ohio Department of Education says 9 percent more high school students scored a three or better on advanced-placement exams for college credit last year. 66 percent of Ohio students scored three or better, compared with 57 percent nationally. State Schools Superintendent Richard Ross.

Minority students in Ohio had the largest gains. The number of African-American students rose by 17 percent, while the number of Latino students rose by nearly 20 percent.
