Columbus police say two people who attempted to break into a West side apartment last night are hospitalized in critical condition. Police say the two unnamed men were among four people who forced their way into a Cascade Court apartment, and a resident then opened fire on them. Neighbors say the two elderly residents of the apartment at the Wildwood Village complex armed themselves after being robbed last year.
