Arbitrator Upholds Firing Of White Cleveland Cop In Shooting Deaths Of Two Unarmed Blacks

cleveland.com

The Cleveland police officer acquitted of using excessive force in a shooting nearly five years ago will not get his job back. An arbitrator has upheld the firing of Michael Brelo, saying the city had just cause. Five other officers who were also fired for their actions in the 2012 shooting deaths of unarmed black suspects Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were reinstated without back pay.
