Armed Men Guarding Ohio Military Recruiting Centers

Two armed central Ohio men are standing guard outside of military recruiting centers. 50-year-old Larry Fitzpatrick is camped outside the Armed Forces Career Center on West Broad Street with a rifle. 22-year-old Clayton Waites is also armed and guarding the recruiting center near a shopping mall in Lancaster. Armed men are also guarding other centers in the state. The military prohibits its members from carrying guns at recruiting offices. The men started their vigils after the shooting deaths of four U.S. Marines and a U.S. Navy sailor last week at a facility in Tennessee.
