Columbus police this morning arrested a man in connection with a murder in January of last year.
21-year old DeWhite Riley is due to appear in court on Saturday to face charges in the strangulation death of 45-year-old Dean Reinhard. His body was found by Rumpke employees at the company’s transfer station on Fields Avenue on January 25th of 2012. Police at the time said they believed Reinhard was searching for cardboard and might have fallen asleep in a dumpster. Police also said Reinhard was assaulted and robbed at East Fulton Street and Miller Avenue two days earlier.
