Athens County Sheriff's deputies say a couple convicted of abusing their infant daughter has been arrested in Franklin County. Extradition is pending for Kayla Fannon and Samuel Thompson, who fled during their trial earlier this month for beating a child in 2014. The child sustained dozens of broken bones and a brain injury while in the couple's care. The child was later adopted by her foster parents.
