An Athens County man will serve five years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting children at daycare centers. 76-year-old Thomas Shifflet must also pay more than 6-thousand dollars restitution to the families of his victims. Shifflet was convicted last month of sexually assaulting several children at two daycare facilities in 2010 and 2011.
