An Athens County serial rape suspect was indicted Tuesday on 12 counts of rape, attempted rape, assault, kidnapping and burglary. 26-year-old Shawn Lawson Junior was sentenced to 41 years in prison for four rapes and a fifth attempted rape that happened between 2006 and March of this year. Investigations of two other attacks are pending.
