Audit: CCS Employees Failed To Return Fraudulently Awarded Bonuses

A state audit shows dozens of Columbus City Schools employees are holding on to fraudulently awarded bonuses. 70 current and former employees have not repaid the money nor expressed plans to do so.  They were asked to return the money after learning the bonuses were awarded based on phony student performance data.  District officials say those who haven't repaid the bonuses will be getting calls from debt collectors.
