Officials with Columbus-based Battelle say the company has won a multi-million-dollar contract to assist the U.S. Army in cyber security research. Battelle will conduct in-depth information assurance studies supporting the Army’s Identity Management and Cryptographic initiatives. The $22.4 million contract lasts for 10 months but also contains two option years. The company say the work will help to enable faster, wider and more secure physical and logical access both within the army and across the national security community.
