An autopsy is scheduled today on the body of a 5-year-old Bellefontaine boy who police say was repeatedly beaten by his father. 24-year-old Anthony Barton was arrested yesterday on child endangering charges after the death of his son Michael at a Columbus hospital. Police say the boy had welts and bruises on his body from repeated beatings with a switch. Police say the boy's death could lead to the filing of murder charges.
