Billboards sponsored by Triple-A are reminding drivers about the state's new ban on texting while driving.The "Don't Text and Drive" signs were unveiled Monday, ahead of the law taking effect on Friday. The new law gives police the authority to ticket someone who is texting if it contributed to another traffic violation. The State says the ban will reduce distracted driving crashes blamed for dozens of deaths each year.
