Beaufort County, South Carolina Sheriff’s deputies say the body of a Thomas Worthington High School student reported missing on Sunday was recovered Monday in the waters off Fripp Island. Eric Clark was swimming with friends while on a trip with the school's basketball team when he disappeared. Deputies believe Clark was caught in an undertow. The other swimmers made it out safely.
