BOE Removes 16 Candidates From November Ballot

The Franklin County Board of Elections has removed 16 candidates from the November ballot because of problems with their petitions. The most common problem was petitions were missing the required number of signatures or a witness statement. The candidates were seeking offices in Urbancrest, Jefferson Township, Clinton Township, Sharon Township, Riverlea, Lockbourne, Marble Cliff, Brice, Canal Winchester, Worthington, Whitehall, Grandview Heights, Bexley and the Gahanna-Jefferson school district.
