Bomb Threats Prompt Evacuation Of Three CCS Schools

Columbus police say a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of three Columbus City Schools this afternoon was a hoax. Police say a call was recieved shortly after 1pm warning there were bombs in Mifflin High School, Northland High School, and Linden-McKinley STEM Academy.  A district spokesperson says all students were evacuated to a safe area, and were dismissed at the usual time, using regular bus routes.  Police say sweeps of the buildings turned up nothing suspicious.  The investigation is ongoing.
