Bond Set For Father Charged With Running Over Son

A Union County judge this morning set bond at 500 thousand dollars for a Columbus man charged with running over and killing his 4-year-old son yesterday. 30-year-old Natividad de Jesus Hernandez faces a felony charge of leaving the scene of a traffic crash.The State Highway Patrol says Hernandez fled the scene on Brock Road in Jerome Township but later returned to the hospital where his son Angel Gustbabo Hernandez was pronounced dead. Troopers say the boy was not secured in a child seat. Hernandez is due back in court on Monday.
