Bond Set For Man Charged With Pointing Laser At Police Chopper

Bond is set at 10 thousand dollars for a Grove City man accused of pointing a laser at a Columbus police helicopter late Tuesday.  Police say 20-year-old Denzel Christian temporarily blinded the crew while it was on patrol over the west side.  The pilot was able to locate Christian and hover over his home until officers arrived to arrest him. Christian is due back in court on August 8 to face a charge of interfering with the operation of an aircraft with a laser - a second-degree felony.
