Bonds Set In Beating Death Of Circleville Woman

Bond was set this morning at 500-thousand dollars each for the two adults arrested in connection with the beating death of a Circleville woman. Police arrested 20-year-old Cameron Eby, 37-year-old Nicole Leasure yesterday on aggravated rioting charges. Also arrested were 17-year-olds Brandon Bolin and Keely Martin. Bolin is charged with a delinquency count of aggravated rioting. Martin, who is Leasure's daughter, is charged with a delinquency count of rioting. Prosecutors want them to remain in juvenile detention. The four are accused of being part of a crowd of people who attacked 21-year-old Brittany Jeffers. Circleville police chief Harold Gray says Jeffers died yesterday, less than 12 hours after she was severely beaten in apparent retaliation for her mother's tip to police about a burglary suspect in their neighborhood. Police say they are still attempting to interview other persons of interest in the case.
