Bonner Tribute Concert Cancelled

Plans to honor Ohio Players frontman Leroy "Sugarfoot" Bonner with a tribute concert are being scrapped.

Organizers have canceled next month's planned event in Dayton, saying they will respect the Bonner family's wishes to not have a public memorial. Bonner died last month of cancer at the age of 69. A memorial service is scheduled for this Saturday in Cincinnati.
