The president of a north-central Ohio booster club is accused of improperly using scholarship money meant for students.
A grand jury has indicted Cheryl Patrick on charges that include engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, complicity to aggravated theft and complicity to money laundering. The 57-year-old Patrick is the third person indicted in connection with the improper use of more than $200,000 in scholarship money meant for student athletes from Mansfield Senior High School. She served as president of the Mansfield Tyger All Sports Booster Club, now known as the Richland All Sports Booster Club.
