Bridal Shop Caught In Ebola Scare Closing

cleveland.com

The owner of the Akron bridal shop linked to an Ebola survivor say the store is closing because it lost significant revenue and has been stigmatized. Anna Younker says the store temporarily closed and was cleaned before reopening in November, but it has become known as the Ebola store. Dallas nurse Amber Vinson was diagnosed with Ebola days after visiting the store in October. Younker says the temporary closure and canceled orders cost her at least 100 thousand dollars in uninsured losses. The store will take orders until the end of January and then sell dresses at discounts and liquidate all assets. Younker has rejected the city of Akron's offer of money and relocation assistance.
