Bus Driver Sentenced In Fatal Highway Crash

A charter bus driver is awaiting sentencing for causing a fatal crash on I-70 last April.  Licking County prosecutors say 61-year-old Tery Elzey was convicted yesterday of vehicular manslaughter. Prosecutors say Elzey was playing with a phone while driving and crashed into a broken-down vehicle, killing 31-year-old vehicle driver Christopher Barthelmas and injuring his 15-year-old passenger, Rodney Matthews.
