Columbus Fire Station 2 at Fourth and Fulton Streets was closed on Wednesday for renovations. The station open for the last 53 years has been one of the nation's busiest, according to Firehouse Magazine. Firefighters and equipment will be moved to other neighborhood stations until the work is completed.
