Car/Train Crash Injures Two

The State Highway Patrol says a car trying to beat a train in Prospect got struck on the tracks last night, and two people inside the vehicle were seriously injured.

Troopers say 18-year-old Connor Helman was behind the wheel when he tried to cross the tracks in front of a CSX train. Helman and his passenger, 21-year-old Brandon Phillips, are hospitalized in Columbus in stable condition.
