CBJ Says Goodbye To Wright, Hello To Bobrovsky
The Columbus Blue Jackets and former player Tyler Wright, most recently a director of amateur scouting, are parting ways.
Wright was selected by the club in the 2000 expansion draft and played in 309 games. Wright says he felt the time was right to move on. The Jackets have also signed goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to a two-year contract extension. Terms of the deal that locks up the Vezina Award winner before he can become a restricted free agent were not disclosed. He was acquired from Philadelphia for draft picks last summer.
