CCS Bus Driver Quits Amid OVI Charge

The woman accused of driving a Columbus City Schools bus while intoxicated has resigned.

51-year-old Tia Denton resigned yesterday, one week after she was suspended without pay following her arrest for driving erratically with students on board and having an open container of alcohol at her side. Denton has been charged with  drunken driving, child endangering and having an open container.
