CCS Official Leaving Amid Data-Scrubbing Scandal

Mar 8, 2013

A third Columbus City Schools administrator is stepping down amid the district's data-rigging scandal.

Briggs High School Assistant Principal Stanley Pyle is resigning at the end of June. Pyle is accused of deleting student absences and changing grades. He follows former district data chief Steve Tankovich and administrator Michael Dodds, who made thousands of unexplained changes to data. State Auditor Dave Yost has yet to release the results of his investigation of the district. The FBI is also investigating.
