CCS Official To Take The 5th At Principal's Disciplinary Hearning

A former Columbus City Schools official under investigation in the district's attendance data fixing scandal won't testify in defense of the principal he once supervised.

Former district regional director Michael Dodds today will invoke his Fifth Amendment right to not testify in Tiffany Chavers' disciplinary hearing.  Chavers is fighting to keep her job as principal of Linden-McKinley High School, despite claims she ordered student attendance data changed to improve her school's academic performance.
