Central Ohio Couple Charged In Toddler's Death

Sheriff's deputies in central Ohio are looking for the parents of a 16-month-old girl after the child died from being left in a room with a space heater on last month. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Michael Wilder and 23-year-old Greta Sahatciu are charged with a felony count of endangering children, and Wilder faces an additional charge of involuntary manslaughter. Deputies say Maiya Wilder was unresponsive when her father rushed her to a Columbus hospital on June 29. She died two days later. Detectives determined the toddler had been left unattended for 10 hours in a bedroom with a space heater on. Investigators are still trying to locate the couple, whose other two children are now in the custody of social services.
