A Lancaster man died Friday while hiking at Grand Canyon National Park. Park officials on Monday identified the man who died on the North Kaibab Trail as 47-year old Andrew Sammler. Officials say Sammler was hiking up the trail with three other people when he apparently became ill a half-mile from the trailhead. An investigation is being conducted by the National Park Service and the local medical examiner.
