Champaign County Jail Escapee Recaptured

Tri-County Regional Jail

A man who escaped from a Champaign County jail in April has been arrested in New York.  Tri-County Regional Jail officials say Staling Santos-Reyes fled from guards while taking out trash during a work detail.  He was being held on drug charges filed in Madison County. Extradition is pending.
