Charges Filed Against Man Who Told Authorities He Killed His Mother

The Madison Township man accused of killing his mother late Wednesday night has been charged with murder. Franklin County Sheriff's deputies say 32-year-old Gary Ritter admitted attacking 58-year-old Mary Jo Ritter in a 911 call. Ritter told the operator he "flipped" during an argument and stabbed his mother several times.
