A Columbus woman who poisoned a 5-year-old girl with methadone in 2010 has pleaded guilty to causing the child's death last March. 58-year-old Kimberly Brooks is in prison for giving Amya Hawthorne methadone when the girl was sick and having trouble sleeping. Brooks pleaded guilty Thursday to involuntary manslaughter and will have 10 more years added to her sentence.
