Columbus, OH – Columbus City Council has approved legislation to annex the 47-acre Cooper stadium site. The ballpark, buildings and parking lots have been part of Franklin Township since the early 1930's. In September, Franklin County put the site up for sale hoping to entice private developers. Columbus Development Director Boyce Safford talks with Jim Letizia about why the city wants to annex the land and its potential reuse.
