Clarett Released From Probation Two Months Early

Columbus Division of Police

A Franklin County Judge has ordered former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett be released from probation two months early. He was sentenced to prison after robbery and weapons and convictions. He was released in 2010 and ordered to serve five years of intensive probation. Judge David Fais' last day on the job is Friday, and he says he wanted to end Clarett's probation before leaving the bench.  Clarett led the Buckeyes to the 2002 national championship.
