Columbus Businessman Sentenced For Failing To Pay Workers Income Taxes

A Columbus man has been sentenced to a year in prison for failing to remit his employees' income tax withholdings to the Internal Revenue Service. 60-year-old Paul Taylor Junior must also serve three years supervised release and pay more than 1.5 million dollars restitution. Taylor's Kingston LLC business withheld but failed to remit the employment taxes. Federal prosecutors say Taylor set up Kingston as a "back office support" for his numerous other construction development entities.
