The owner of Columbus Castings is asking a Delaware bankruptcy judge to schedule an auction of the south side factory on July 14. The move comes after Constellation Enterprises failed to reach a deal to sell the facility to New York-based Stellex Capital Management by a self-imposed June 3 deadline. Constellation says that deal is still possible. The facility was closed last month, costing hundreds of workers their jobs.
