Linkedin

The second person struck in a crash earlier this month at Broad and High streets in downtown Columbus has died. Columbus police say Bill Lewis died yesterday of complications after two weeks of surgeries.  Lewis was the city's chief mobility engineer.  He was walking with intern Stephanie Fibelkorn when they were struck by a school bus that was hit by a pickup truck. Fibelkorn died at the scene.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
