Columbus Company Plans Expansion

An auto glass company says it will add up to 350 jobs over the next three years and expand its headquarters in central Ohio. Columbus-based Safelite Group says the additional workers and expansion are contingent on approval of city and state incentives. The company's headquarters will remain at the current Columbus location, with remodeling and extra space added to accommodate growth. The company is composed of four business operations. Safelite Group includes a vehicle glass repair and replacement services operation and a business that offers fleet and insurance claims management services. It also has a wholesale and distribution operation and a manufacturing and distribution business unit. The company employs approximately 10,000 people throughout the United States.
